Erin Mary Interiors is a boutique interior design studio rooted in creating warm, layered homes that reflect the lives lived inside them. Our work blends thoughtful design, natural materials, and meaningful storytelling to create spaces that feel deeply personal and timeless.
We are seeking a Design Intern / Part-Time Design Assistant for Summer 2026. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the inner workings of a growing interior design studio while contributing meaningfully to real client projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about design, detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn about the industry. The right candidate is excited to roll up their sleeves and support both the creative and operational sides of design.
Schedule
- Part-time, flexible hours
- Tuesday–Thursday availability preferred
- Approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on project needs
Compensation
- $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and skillset
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include assisting with:
- Social media content support and organization
- Sample library organization and maintenance
- Requesting and tracking product samples
- Vendor and product sourcing research
- Assisting with design concepts and presentation boards
- Supporting CAD, SketchUp, or design renderings (if skilled)
- Procurement tracking and order management
- Preparing materials for client meetings
- Assisting with project installations and styling
- General studio organization and administrative support
Qualifications
The ideal candidate:
- Has a strong interest in interior design and residential spaces
- Is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Enjoys both the creative and logistical sides of design
- Is comfortable communicating with vendors and industry partners
- Is passionate about learning how a design business operates
- Has experience with CAD or SketchUp (rendering skills a plus)
- Has a strong visual eye and appreciation for warm, layered interiors
- Is located in Ballston Spa/Saratoga region
